To have known my mother was a blessing within itself. She could communicate and bond with anyone in any situation for any reason her spirit was out of love. She lived her life her way, not accepting boundaries that were placed on her. Loving her always, Ms Thang.

I had seen Tangerine on Sanford and Son as a little boy and remembered her today when watching a rerun. I decided to look online for other film projects and learned of her passing. She has a beautiful appearance and charming smile. To her family and friends, my condolences albeit very belated.

i saw this episode in 2024, and fell in love with the charater ernestine and her laugh at the table with fred. she should have been a regular on this show s&s . the 70's had some great sitcomes. may you rest in heaven, ms sublett.

I have just seen that episode. She was so funny and her laugh was so real. Wish she would have been on the show more Sanford. And son Rest in peace, my condolence to the family.

My condolences goes out to the family. I just saw the episode of Sanford & Son that she starred on. (Season 1 episode 7 - A pad for Lamont) I was interested to see if she was still alive. She was so beautiful. My husband thought she was Etta James. Rest in Peace!
