Tanisha was one of my friends i knew I could count on from elementary school to middle school. She was such a wonderful friend who brought light to my darkest days. Even as adults she has been a motivation to me. I admired her strength and bravery as she continued to fight her battle with cancer. Tanisha and the impact she had on my life and others will never be forgotten. My condolences are with your family as you conquer this challenging time.

I loved Tanisha like a sister. We knew each other since Tanisha and Iesha and I were all in Elementary school together. She always had my back and I always had her back. She was always the tough one, and stood up for what she believed. She had such a big heart and would do anything for her family and friends. Even though we grow up and went off to college I would still check up to see how she was. Loss Tanisha is like losing a big part of my childhood, losing a friend, and losing a sister....

Tanisha was an enthusiastic worker at the Hartness Student Center, where she attended college at North Carolina Wesleyan College. We appreciated all that she did for the campus and her fellow students
