Not sure what to say?

My sincerest condolences to the entire family. As a neighbor in Miami and a former babysitter, i watched both tanya and terrie grow up to be beautiful young women. i was deeply saddened to hear that tanya had passed and am reminded of the old adage "the good die young". may God continue to bless you all.

You and your family are in my prayers and thoughts. May God's love continue to strengthen you.

My deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Kent and family, We are so sorry for your loss. I recall Kent telling me what an incredible person he had met on the White House fellows program. For all of her accomplishment, Tanya's love for and devotion to her family is what stands out in my mind. She will truly be missed and left an indellible impression in her short time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. BDs ATB Paul, Stacey and Tom Jamieson.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Children,

I never met your mom, but I heard about what a great lady she was. I knew she would have to be a wonderful woman to marry such a wonderul man as Kent Pekel. At St. Paul Central, there was one stand-out in the crowd and that was Kent. No matter what amazing thing Carolyn Rush could tell me about Kent, I would believe it. But, Carolyn didn't tell me something happy. She told me something very sad. I'm a mom and I know I would never want to leave my children. ...

Kent, Lauren, Adam, and Victoria,

I knew Tanya when we were both undergraudates at Duke. I had the great pleasure of working with her when she led the Black Student Association. Tanya was and always will be a remarkable woman. I am so saddened to hear of her passing and to contemplate the magnitude of your loss. I know she will always be there cheering you on no matter how far away she may seem. My love and prayers are with you, now and always.

To the Family of Tanya Martin Pekel:
"Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto your own undertanding; in all they ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path"
Know that you will be in my prayers.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.
