Tara became my old-fashioned pen-pal many years ago. I only met her once or twice when she was very young and married first time to the son of my beloved, boss, Sunset Editor, Proctor Mellquist. I wanted to send my deepest feelings of caring to Tara's family. I was a very good friend of her mother Valerie Mullen. Valarie and Tara were very special women. The Upper Valley region of VT and NH was gifted to have them live among us. Most recently, I participated in a Zoom memorial service for a friend of Tara's and her mother. Tara's speech at that service was very touching and beautiful. I want Tara's family to know that many people feel their loss and send them love. ...
