Dear Lori, I was shocked and saddened to see this story about Tarif's death. I have pictures of you two at our wedding on 2/14/1981 and from Christmas at our home in 1982. We had great times with you and Tarif before you moved to Ohio. I still remember the incident at our house when a big cockroach climbed on Tarif's back and we all went crazy trying to catch it.

I was so saddened to hear the news Yesteday,
Tarif and I were close friends, graduated from Damascus University, worked together before we came to the U.S.
He was an awesome friend, always pleasant always upbeat always optimistic, one of a kind Physician when we were in school in Damascus.
he will be missed for sure. May Allah bestow his mercy and blessing on him.
