Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Tavy's death. He offered me my first management position in 1983 and I worked for him for over 15 years. He was, by far, my most influential mentor. I will never forget his steadfast support and encouragement to take risks. I always knew if things turned ugly Tavy would be at my back. Tavy and I traveled extensively together and I got the opportunity to spend off-hour time with him as well. Tavy was truly a Lion among his peers. I will never forget him.

Sincerest sympathy to the entire Cain family. Tavy was a good person and he will indeed be missed.

Tavy and I were very good friends and we worked together to make things better for our departments. I always respected and enjoyed working with Tavy. I am very sorry to learn of his passing.

I was Tavy’s secretary in the early 70’s while he was Division Head, in the old Code 4700 (Point Defense) at NSMSES Port Hueneme. I respected and admired him for the boss and friend he was, and I am saddened at his passing. My heart goes out to your family.

Dear Keith, Misty and Family, We are so sorry for the loss of Tavy but are greatful he is no longer in pain. We know he is with you everyday and you will feel him near when you need him. Know our hearts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Love you more than you know. Ken and Cecile from Benjamin, UT

I just heard about Tavy's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to the Cain family. Praying that you find comfort and peace in the Lord.

Tavy Jr. & Family,
I'm terribly sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I like to believe that when we lose someone close to us they still live through us and give us strength. The time we have spent with those we've lost makes them part of us. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked for Tavy when he first came to THawk in/about 78. As a senior project engineer, he was my Division Head--I appreciated his "give the job to good people and get out of their way" management style. I remembered that and tried to use it later in my career. A great man, I share your loss. Sinerely,

Tavy was a very special man. I'm sorry Cain family. Prayers of peace to flow into your family.
