Not sure what to say?

I just (2022) read of Ted's passing eight years ago. Ted and I were schoolmates and teammates at Knoxville Fulton HS (1952-54) and very close friends. I saw him at reunions two or three times over the years and he was always the same loving, generous, witty, brilliant and dedicated Ted. I'm sure I will have a chance to touch base with him again in Heaven, and I look forward to it. To his family - you have been blessed, as i have, to have been touched by his life. We will all meet again.

I was surprised to learn of Ted's passing when I read "The Call". "Toad" was very fond of Ted and freqently would mention the trip to Atlanta and we went shopping. Just keep busy. I have found this very helpful to help with my grief. May God's comfort surround you each day.

Nancy and family,

I am so sorry for your loss, and have been praying for your family. I loved talking to you just a couple of weeks ago, and will carry that lasting memory forever. Thank you for being in our lives. You have enriched mom's life with your friendship and we consider you family.

Prayerfully,
Jason, Valerie, and Sully Rhymer

Dear Nancy, I don't think I have enough words in my vocabulary to tell you what a blessing the Baker family has been to me during the past fifty years. I don't have very many memories that don't include you. Please know how much I love you and your children. You are in my heart and prayers, and even though I will miss Ted always, I rejoice that he is in heaven with my sweet Max.
My love and prayers to all of you.

Dear Butch & Family, I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a wonderful and kind man. Sincerely, Cindy

Nancy and Family, We are so surprised and sorry to hear of Ted's passing. We have fond memories of our conversations with you and him over a good meal. Please know that you all are in our prayers. Sincerely, Neldeane and Paul

Nancy & family: Dianne and I want you to know of our deep concern upon learning of Ted's death. A friend since Knoxville youth days in the 1950's, we will miss him. May God's grace be more than equal to all your needs. Peace & Love,

When Charlie and I heard the news this A.M. of Ted's passing, we sat in shock and sorrow. So many wonderful memories our entire family have of our friendship with the Baker family for many years. Ted baptized our two sons, Art & Scott. HE Married our SON Scott and was a marvelous minister to our St. Mark church family. We send sincere condolences to Nancy, Burch, Jay and Sissy. Much love from B.J. & Charlie Clark.

Dear Butch,
I was so sorry to hear today of your father's passing. May you and your family find comfort in the Lord and each other, and blessings in shared fond memories.
With kindest sympathies,
