Not sure what to say?

I did not personally know Ted Baker, but I knew his parents, Ted and Vivian my whole life. Our parents were best of friends, meeting in Alaska, with a lifetime of friendship. I saw Ted and Vivian at various times throughout my life, the last time being in 1990 in Fairbanks after being involved with my father with the 50th Anniversary of First Assembly of God in Anchorage....of which my parents, James and Clara Reb were founding pastors. We spent the night with Ted Senior after visiting...

Fond memories of Ted's kind and easy-going spirit as I joined in the sometimes-tense meetings of the Fairbanks B&B Association. With his bright smile and light voice, he was a calming influence. Heartfelt sympathy to his wife and family.

I´m so sorry Elizebeth for the loss you are experiencing. I remember the very lovely day/and meal you shared with us when my Aunt Doris and Uncle Paul Huling and Margaret (Boyd) came up to Fairbanks on their way up the Dalton Highway. You and Ted were so helpful during their vehicle issue´s and I am so grateful. Your lives always showed generosity.

Mr Baker was my Science Teacher at Ryan JR High. I also knew him from Church. He was a kind man who will be missed.

Elizabeth: So sorry to hear of this. Sad, but the two of you packed more love, adventure, and fun into a life than anyone I know. The mention of you in this obituary as 'his adventurous wife' is precious. You added so much to the fun of things. I know you will miss him greatly, but the memories you have will always be with you and I'm sure you will always feel surrounded by your children, family, friends, and your Heavenly Father. Love and hugs to you, my friend. Nancy Petersen

I am so sorry to hear of Ted´s passing. He was a wonderful teacher and father and it showed in his family. I loved knowing all of you and I´m so sorry and extend my heartfelt sympathies. I still tell stories of beautiful Luana and how she lit up our kindergarten with her beauty and humor. I´m so sorry Elizabeth and cherish you all as wonderful parents. Dr. Lee Aloia O´Hare Luana´s kindergarten teacher at Barnette Elementary.

Elizabeth, Wesley, Jackie, Luanna, Rodney, and families, Ted was a rock in our community and for your family. His love of science and so many things were shared with his many colleagues and friends. He helped us all be better people. Until all are united in Heaven, I have prayed for peace and understanding as Ted and so many others embark on their eternal missions.

Elizabeth and family, we send our deepest condolences. During this time of your loss may our Lord Jesus Christ give you His peace that passes all understanding. Ted is such a godly man. We loved being under his Sunday School teaching and sharing in his wisdom. We will miss him until we see him again. We send our love to you and your family.
