Ted Bates

My dear my friend, buddy and neighbor is gone but NEVER will be forgotten. He loved Warren like no one i have ever known, and served as its mayor with class and distinction for many years. It was my privilege to spend considerable time with him in his latter years along with his devoted wife Jackie who untiringly gave of herself to care for her beloved Ted in his time of need. Jackie stay strong as i know you will and remember Dorothea and I loved Ted dearly and will cherish our times...

I will always remember Mr. Bates as one of the nicest people I have had the privelige to know. When I was young, I was treated like one of his sons. To Ted Jr. I am so sorry for your loss. I am thankful for the opportunity to visit with him just prior to my retirement 4 years ago. He, as far as I am concerned was Warrens Greatest Mayor by Far. God Bless u Mr. Bates and thank you for all the wonderful childhood memories.

I will remember Ted as a good man. I thank him for the service that he gave his country and the city of Warren. He was an alie and offered sound advice to Ron many times. God bless him and his family during their time of loss.
