I retired from a journalism career that covered four states, and it was Ted Carlson who got me started. Mr. Carlson was one of my journalism professors at OSU. I always enjoyed his classes, and he taught me a lot about sports writing and sports reporting. RIP, Mr. Carlson.

I will miss my one-of-a-kind father-in-law. He was sharp, witty and full of love for his family. There are no adequate words to express how much we will miss him.
