Not sure what to say?

Mrs Fitzgerald was my art teacher. He was the best! I learned so much about drawing from him. He will be remembered fondly.

I was a student at the Academy. Ted was an extraordinary painter, artist, and above all, educator. With humour he guided us through our drawing and painting courses. He brought the best out of each of us. He encouraged us to be true to what drove us to become artists.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Most of the students at the Academy '69-'72 thought of Ted as a friend and guide. He was an inspiration and opened many eyes to creative thinking. His teachings are with many former students today. My sincere condolences. Craig Kaufman

I met Ted when I owned the art gallery on Orange Street in Lancaster, PA. We shared a lot in common and in my opinion, he was a very well-rounded artist. I also remember talking to him when he was at the York Academy in the 1970's. Being the art teacher at Columbia High School, I introduced some of my students to him and his art. He will be missed but just think, he's in heaven talking to some of the old masters.

I was a student at the York Academy in 1970 and I am still impacted by his influence. He was passionate, talented and an excellent instructor. I think everyone that knew him will feel his loss. I hope the family is comforted in knowing how much he was loved.

Carolyn, I was so sorry to hear that you lost Ted. I hope that you can find comfort in that you both touched so many lives. May peace be with you. My prayers are with you. Sherry Baublitz (AAY)

I was one of Mr. Fitzgee's students at York Academy from 1972-1976. He taught me how to draw and made me laugh in almost every class. He must have been fun to have as a dad and grandpa. My sincere condolences, Mary Rex

Thank you, Ted, for inspired instruction and insight. A wonderful instructor and a passionate man with a sense of play. Condolences to his family.
