Not sure what to say?

I still work downtown and my step-son works in Key Tower. I think of Ted when I drive or walk past the old Huntington Building, when I have lunch with my step-son at Key Tower. Also, whenever I go past the Old Stone Church, where we all had to say our final goodbyes to his earthly body. I'm grateful for the few short years that I worked for him as well as for the years of friendship afterward. My husband finally has a Corvette... wish Ted were here to see it!

My memories of Ted are as vivid today as they were when they were made. I can hear his laugh and see the twinkle in his eyes. He was a very special man and I still miss him.

Now 11 years since Ted's passing, I still have so many memories of happy and fun times, and I still often tell Ted stories and think WWTD (what would Ted do?). His influence is still present in my life. I learned so very much from him, and still miss him.

Just thought I would come back and make a correction to my previous entry.

In my previous entry, I used the term, "Silent Kid." That was supposed to be "Silent Key." As in Morse Code key.

My apologies to Ted's wife and Family.

73,

Dear TeddyBear, forever missed, and loved dearly when you graced our planet. Namaste

To you all, he was Ted Huddle. To me, he was W4CID and he had the biggest signal on 3.875. I just enjoyed listening to him.

Another Big iron operator gone, another silent kid.

Rest in Peace OM.

...-.- ..

Donna, I was very sad to hear this news. I recall fondly the fun we had in those early days at Mead/Lexis. I recall the parties at your house and things like Ted (and you) showing up at the hospital the night of my plane crash. Ted had a big influence on my early career and appreciate that. You will be in out thoughts and prayers.

Donna - I'm so sorry to hear this, I just found out today. Ted was so instrumental in my success at AT&T when he was at Arter & Hadden and he was one of the key reasons that the Cleveland Indians ultimately hired me. I viewed him as a business mentor and a good friend. Our lunches, usually at House of Blues, were always a high point for me and a good way to stay in touch with him. He will be greatly missed. - Bryan Hoffart (Mentor, OH)

Donna, I am so sorry to hear about Ted. He was a great man and was loved by so many in his days at Lexis. He was a joy to work with and and it was inspiring to see the relationship the two of you shared. All the best to you and your family - you are in my thoughts and prayers.
