Not sure what to say?

To the family of Dr. Ted James,
I wanted to thank you for sharing Ted with the world of Lionism. I know first hand how much time Lionism involves for a family and we are thankful that you shared him with us all.
With Blessed Thanks Always,

Dear Nancy,Bruce,Keith,Joni & Kerry,
It is so hard to summarize the love my family and I have and had for Ted. He has been more like a second Father to me for so many years while I worked in Lionism with my Parents. I can always remember putting my Father and Ted on a pedicel when it came to looking at others as potential partners-in-service and partners-in-life. I watched as he cared for the lovely Joy during her years of illness and I always said I want somebody like that in my...

Dear Nancy, Bruce, Keith, Joni and Kerry,
Dr. Ted James will be surely missed by the family of Lionism. We traveled with him on a long journey of service. Ted was the leader of the support team for my husband, William L. “Bill” Woolard in his years before, during and after as an officer for Lions Clubs International. His steady faithful leadership both behind and on the scenes provided the Lions of North Carolina the opportunity to share in the responsibilities of being the...

It was so shocking and sad to learn of Ted's passing. Thank you for letting us know. We were unable to come to the visitation and have an opportunity to visit with you. We were at the funeral and heard the well deserved tributes to Ted. I am a veterinary school classmate of Ted's and was able to visit with four other classmates after the service. It was good to share memories, some serious, but mostly comical, of our years with Ted as undergraduates at NC State, vet school students at...

To the James family:
I was saddened to hear of Dr. James' passing. He was a wonderful person. We can all take comfort in knowing he is with his Savior in heaven. May God grant you his peace at this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. James' family during this time of sorrow. Dr. James was a wonderful, kind and giving person who truly loved and cared about the animals he treated in his practice.
He was a good teacher and a friend to all...he will be missed by everyone who knew him!! I'm sure there were many of God's creatures waiting for him when he arrived at the Rainbow Bridge!!

Dear James Family,
Dr. James taught the community so much. His love and devotion for his ailing wife Joy showed what kind of a man he truly was. His compassion for creatures great and small taught all that knew him that all life is to be valued. Dr. James took care of many of the animals I had growing up. He was there to patch up the hurts and offer a hug. He taught me to allow dying with dignity and without suffering. I admired the great man he was and feel blessed to have known...

Our deepest sympathy. He took us under his wing and we use his words of wisdom everyday.

Dear Nancy, We are so very sorry for your loss. We remember all the fond memories at Lions International especially at Phoenix when we ate @ the Big Apple. I even remember baby sitting for Ted's children when I was younger. He was such a wonderful role model. God Bless you & both of your families at this time - Lots of Love.
