Dr. Kaltenbach was born on August 19, 1953 and passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Dr. Kaltenbach was a resident of Oklahoma at the time of passing. Ted graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1971. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, at the Asbury United Methodist Church, Mason Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Ted's honor be made to The Children's Hospital Foundation at Saint Francis, 6161 South Yale, Tulsa, OK 74136; the American Heart Association, 2227 E Skelly Drive, Tulsa, OK 74105; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
I just found out that Dr Kaltenbach had passed. He was an amazing doctor to both of my kids. RIP Dr. K

You were an amazing Doctor we heard of your passing all the way in Denver where we live now but still miss the great care, big smile, and white hair! You answered frantic calls with patients and kindness. You were always a wealth of knowledge not just as a Doctor but as an experienced father. You really were the best and I hope your family knows you spoke of them often even while taking care of other families.

We are shocked and heartbroken over the sudden passing of Dr. Kaltenbach. He was my kids pediatrician for 16 years. It was evident he truly loved children and his job. He put my mind at ease at each visit by being so thorough with my babies. Ill always remember him saying knock, knock before coming in and the way he made my kids laugh. Im so grateful you were my pediatrician from birth to 18+. I never wanted to stop coming to see you, you had to finally tell me I was to old to see a pediatrician. You will be missed dearly. Im praying for your family and friends.

I knew Dr. Kaltenbach as a resident when we both worked at St. Francis PICU. He always had a smile for everyone, especially the kids. He was loved by both doctors and staff and will be sorely missed. We were both Cardinals fans so I'm certain he'll help cheer for them from his heavenly place. Rest in peace, Dr. Ted.
