LINK, Ted A. - Of Burton, age 84, died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:30AM Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor David A. Galbraith officiating. Entombment 3PM Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to the G.I.S.D. Visitation 2-4 and 6-9PM Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Link was born in Akron, Michigan on February 5, 1919 and was a resident of the Flint area most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Link was employed by Buick Motor Division for 30 years, retiring in 1974. Surviving are sister, Ethel Fitzgerald; special niece, Pat Collins; many other nieces and nephews; 4 Godchildren, Karen Whitacre, Peter M. Medich, Jeanine Ferguson and Teresa Medich; a very special thanks to his lady friend, Muriel Lonsberry and good neighbor and friend, Scott Monroe; lifelong friends, Peter and Catherine Medich. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa, on June 8, 1999 and 10 brothers.
