Not sure what to say?

I was so shocked to hear of Ted´s passing. I hadn´t heard from him in a while, and looked for him online. :( He hired me at Schlumberger back in the 90s and he was such a wonderful mentor and a great person. I just can´t believe he´s gone-he had so many plans and was so full of life. Will miss him very much. Can´t wait to see him in heaven though. Am very happy he´s with Jesus now.

Found out of Ted's passing only today and it came as a big surprise. We spoke each time I visited Zeiss, and it was like we were back at SLB again (minus a few folks). I truly enjoyed being his colleague over the years and valued his experiences. Above all, he was a true gentleman.

Ted was an extraordinary man. A truly genuine individual who loved his family and friends dearly. He was very giving and adventurous-- even in his last years. Ted was taken from us too soon.. he had so much more to give to this world. I will miss him dearly

Ted loved growing things, flowers, vegetables, everything, including friends.

Dear Ted,

So sad that you are gone. But we hopeful to meet you again near Jesus some day. My wife Aliman is missing you a lot. You called her Vnuchka, which means granddaughter. You were able to meet your great granddaughter through the video calls and photos. We will tell her in the future about you.
Many people whom you knew are missing here in Kyrgyzstan. Blessings and comfort from the Father God to your loved ones.

Edil, Aliman and Elisha. Kyrgyzstan

Until the end, I want to avoid this post and face the sadness, but I am writing because I have to spend my grandfather happily. He was a smart person, but he knew the wisdom of life more, and he was a caring and humble person. I will always keep his grandfather's warmth and attitude toward life in my heart, and I will never forget it.

Ted, I am so sad to hear that you passed away. I can't believe that you just gave me a greeting card on Mother's Day. I first met you through a church program that I was introduced to at school when I came to study in the U.S. in 1999. When I had a baby, you were as happy to see me as if it were your own family. You have given me so much love. I am really glad to have met you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will miss you.
