Ted H. Mathis, 81, a longtime resident of Crestview, Fla., went to be with his Lord on Sept. 19, 2013. He was born in Bath, S.C., and graduated from the University of South Carolina with an engineering degree. He was a retired Naval Officer and spent his time in the Navy serving as a Seabee....

My condolence to the family..May the Lord comfort his wife to which she will miss him greatly...I never personally knew this fine gentleman, but he never failed to smile and greet with a warm greeting...The Town has lost a very good soldier to well being people
