Dear Sherry and family, We were so sorry to hear of Ted's passing. What wonderful memories of a great life together you all will share. We were out of town and unable to attend the services. I would love to see Ruthie and especially Matt. He was one of my favorites. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Love,

It is with much pride that I can say that Ted Paris was my coach, teacher, and friend. He has left all of us the proper example on how to live life. I will always remember going on church visitation to a visitor's home only to find Ted Paris there ahead of me and my partner. What a tremendous example he leaves behind. My sincere sympanthy to Sherry and rest of the family.

My heart goes out to U Sherri and your family---God Bless all of you.

TED PARIS a GREAT AMERICAN. A true son of the South .... A Louisiana Legend. He touched many and made a wonderful community leader. He is the kind of person we all hope our children will grow up to be like. He has gone on to that LSU TIGER DEN in the sky. God bless TED PARIS.

I have fond memories of my times spent at the Paris home with lots of laughter and fun. Mr.Paris was, as large as he was, soft spoken and tender. He was a real southern gentleman. Mrs.Paris, Mike , Nita and Ruthie you are all in my heart and prayers.

This is very sad news. Very few people can actually hold a unique place in the History of a town--Coach Paris was one of those. I am one of the fortunate few who can remember sitting by the radio and listening to the LSU games and the pride that my family, and for that matter all of us in town felt every time the announcer mentioned Ted Lynn Paris from Leesville. It was even more fun when his dad would come into my Dad's shoe repair shop and recreate some of the highlights. However, he did...

Mr. Paris was the first principal I taught under. I am so thankful as he was so great to serve with. I also went to church with him. It was always easy to see how much he loved the Lord! He will surely be missed on this side of heaven but know there is great rejoicing in Heaven and a lot of visiting going on too.
