Mr. "T" was one of the first people who encouraged me to keep up with my artwork and photography.....he was always up beat and had kind and encouraging things to say.....was a coach who "taught" us what to do with his positive words....Great Teacher but an Outstanding person!!

Today, I heard of Ted's passing. Ted is related to my father John Janos and last July (2024) my Mother and I had lunch and a wonderful visit with Ted. We own a painting of Ted's which he gave my parents as a wedding gift. I was thrilled to meet the artist. What an amazing man. I'm so glad to have met him.

My condolences to Ted's family on his passing a life well lived. Ted and Irene were wonderful people who were very kind to me when I was a student in Cleveland and I will never forget them for that. Memory eternal.

Note: 2nd attempt to send my memory of Ted Theodore follows: I first met Coach Theodore at Junior HS track meet, where I was a high jumper. He introduced himself and said I had a future as a hurdler or high jumper. Me? Such a positive guy, he continued to show interest while I played baseball in 9th grade and Golf at Berea HS. Just think how persistent he must have been with guys who had talent! The words of Denny Kushlak resonate with all us, especially since they come from Dennis Kushlak

I met Mr. Theodore in the 7th grade, while participating in a Jr High track meet. He loved track and seemed to be everywhere. He saw something in me as a potential hurdler that I certainly didn't

Ted was my art teacher from 8th grade to 12th grade at Berea High school for 5 yrs. I then found out that he and my dad both had horse and milk wagon routes for Producers Milk. He one time took a painting I had been playing around with and sent it to an art show and it won a 1st prize. Over the years he and Irene too were always so encouraging about everything in life. May he rest in peace. He and Irene will both be missed at many class reunions.
