Not sure what to say?

I have been fitness instructor since 1982. I am cleaning out my old files, a lot of them, and ran across the Work- out for Hope program book from 1997. I was looking over the presenters (of which I remember no one) until I saw the name Ernest Perez. That brought a smile to my face. That says it all! That was probably the only time I ever saw him but for me to remember his name with a smile shows his impact. It´s been a long time ago, but I´m truly sorry for your loss.

I always remember how much I felt blessed to be able to know Ernest . To have Ernest as a friend was to know he would ALWAYS be a true friend. I watched how hard he worked and how talented he was at making others happy. I know a soul such as his is greeting and bringing happiness to those lucky to have even shared a simple smile with Ernest-while he spread joy on God´s Earth. It´s been 21 years or so, yet he is truly Unforgettable....

I was fortunate to have gotten to know Ernest when we had a high school chemistry class together. He was intelligent, a true leader, had a knack for making people feel good about themselves, and I admired him very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to his brothers and sisters and the rest of his family.

My most sincere condolences to the Perez family. Ernest was an inspiration to life, he made us all feel glad to be alive.

We miss him terribly.

I did not know Ernest personally, but I did have the privilege of attending his aerobics classes at Bally's in Champions Village. His classes were so much fun and his enthusiasm was contagious. I am deeply saddened. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Perez family.

I had the priviledge of going to high school with Ernest. We were in Marching Band together. He was a very sweet and compassionate friend. I didn't find out til after I graduated that he was the only one who was able to see my inner sorrow through my eyes during a difficult period in my life. He was a very special and giving person. He will be missed dearly.

I had the great pleasure of attending high school with Ernest. The picture of him and and his siblings walking the hallways is forever etched in my memory. Ernest was always enthusiastic in everything he participated in. I had the good fortune of running into him a few times at Bally's and then seeing him at his very best during the ESPN Aerobics competition. He was electrifying and outshined the most brillant star...heaven is the place for such a star. My condolences to the entire Perez...

I met Ernest over 12 years ago while he was teaching Hi Impact Aerobics at Bally's in the Village. That's when I discovered that working out can really be fun & exciting. Ernest was absolutely wonderful!!

Thank you, Ernest! You will be missed!

I met Ernest, and saw him only a few times. But every one of those few times, he made me smile. Full of energy, always initiating a hug, a sincere hug. My heart is sad. My sincere sympathy to all effected. May you know the peace of Jesus.
