Not sure what to say?

Sending my warmest condolences to Anne and Andrew.

Just found this . Prayers and blessed memories to the family

I just saw a cityscape that reminded me of Terry's wonderful watercolors and I decided to google his name and came to this site. My husband Al and I would like to extend our condolences to Anne. We enjoyed spending time with them and June and Sam Costello. Terry was a charming man as well as talented artist. I enjoyed going through his book a "Retrospective at 80" which we will revisit now.

I only got to know Uncle Terry late in his life, but even then he was vibrant, energetic, and full of joie de vie. What really struck me, however, was the obvious and deep love he had for his wife Anne, who was clearly the center of his world.

Terence Coyle, my Uncle Terry, offered an example of what it is to live a life ever curious and attentive to your craft. And while much of his waking life was devoted to making art, for me I will remember his love for my Aunt Anne, his love for all of his family, his hearty laughter and smile, and the light that shone from him- always.

Mr Coyle deepened my understanding of the drawing of the figure. More importantly Mr Coyle freed me to make mistakes and to try and try again to accurately draw aportraits.

During Mr Coyle's Critques one always learned and laughed.

I am sure I will never again have a teacher as generous with his wisdom and his drawing tools as Terence Coyle.

With much fondness and love,
Randy Carol Faerber

Anne,
So sorry for the loss of your dear husband. Terry was a great guy and I know you will find comfort in the great memories that you shared with him.
Love,
Cousin Penny

Even in his 90s, Terry emanated such warmth. I remember his beautiful singing voice and mischievous smile and I often refer to his very helpful notes in the margins of his art books. I feel so lucky to have met Terry and greatly enjoyed the times I spent with him.

Cousin Anne
Charlie and I send our sympathy to you on the passing of dear Terry.
To know him was to love him. We were especially touched when we were presented with one of his treasured "Helen Hayes" pieces for our wedding gift.
He was so talented, smart and what a sense of humor.
His presence was a gift to all of us.
May he Rest in Peace.
Our love,
Patti & Charlie
