Dear family of Terry-such a wonderfully bright, talented, and good man. And a great pleasure to know him from Huron High School days. Loved talking flowers and plants with him. Love his special Sherrie too and her quick friendly smile. Susan Gray Nordlinger

I always enjoyed seeing Terry at the all school reunions and admired the grace and dignity of with which those championship team players exhibited. They gave our town of Chassell someone to look up to and something to be proud of as well. Our sympathies to the entire Pokela family.

Mr. Pokela was my 10th grade biology teacher (class of 2000). He was a little bit zany, very knowledgeable, AND let us go into the semi-neglected school greenhouse and attempt to revive it (no luck). He was definitely one of the teachers I remember fondly.

My Uncle would tell us about Terry´s basketball games when he played in Cassel. The yooper ties go way back but like many CHS students he later became my teacher. And then a member of our extended family. Always kind, always a gentleman and always having a great sense of humor. So sorry he´s gone. Prayers to you, Sherrie, Karina and Kiirsa and to your families. Cindy & Ken Beauchamp
