Loving mother, grandmother and sister, Teresa Herbert, age 60, long time resident of Payson, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 17, 2010. She was born July 29, 1949 in Caliente, Nevada, a daughter of Frank and Stella Emerine. She married the love of her life, Jackie Herbert, February 9, 1967 in Payson, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Terry graduated from Tintic High School in 1967. She worked in the medical field in nursing and several related medical fields starting at Payson City Hospital, Mtn. View Hospital and Utah Valley Medical Center. She worked as administrative secretary for Payson Police, Ambulance and was an illustrator and an artist. Survivors include: her children, Terrie Lynn (Jeff) Zeeman, Lusaka, Zambia; Alan J. Herbert, Payson; Randy J. Herbert, Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Kacey, Jacob Zeeman, Rachell Snow, Sydney Zeeman, Renny Herbert, Courtnee Herbert and Abbie Herbert; siblings, Mike (Shirley) Emerine and Rosie (Bud) Dunnigan. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jack Herbert; brothers, Lee Emerine: Condido Emerine; Rick Herbert; Bobbie Emerine; biological mother, Romana Elliott; her mother, Stella Herbert; her father, Frank Emerine; and a nephew Carson Shupe. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 27, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, where friends may call Monday, 6-8:00 p.m. or Tuesday, 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
