Teresa Kocsis-Szucs

I am very sad I missed the opportunity to celebrate this special woman. She welcomed me into the store as a teen and made me feel heard and loved. She offered kind words of advice and encouragement.

Some of my best memories are going to Crash & Burn and talking to your mother like buying Mad Max boots and Oi CDs was as boring as a church tea. She was so cool and so sweet and was absolutely nobody's fool. She was in charge of that joint when Frank went to Atlanta and nobody would dare say otherwise. So many of us of a certain age spent a lot of time in that shop where it felt more like home than our actual homes. I miss her.

Teresa was an amazing volunteer in the Egleston Family Library. She was a blessing to many. She was devoted to her family. I know you will cherish the many memories that you have of time together. May God bless you all in this time of sorrow.

Ms. Teresa was a patient of ours in Cardiology here at Emory. I have known her for a long time. She was a dear and sweet lady. I always enjoyed our "chats" when she came in. I am glad that she had moved to a new place that she enjoyed. I will miss her very much.
