Teresa (Carmel) McKeown (McKeogh) 6/4/2013
On behalf of John, Evelyn, Jacinta, Mary, Francis, Gerard and Therese (RIP) I give you these few words about Teresa.
For those of you here present at 10.00am when Mary called us to silent attention to say the Rosary, with the ringing of Gran's bell, I half expected to see the coffin lid move, Gran to sit bolt upright and yell “Mary, where's my cup of tea!”.
I first met Ma one sunny Sunday in 1972, when after meeting her daughter Jacinta...

A saint in Heaven keep an eye on us.No more pain.Love and deepest sympathy to all the cousins .Love from Miriam,Nonie and the hughes

A grand old lady now at rest. Our thoughts are with you all. A life well lived.

SHE
I saw them in the land of dreams
I did not think it strange

rather it seemed as it should be.
He spoke, his words not weighed down
by questioning children's stares,
became gossamer threads.
She danced from thread to thread
together they wove till laughter spun.
She was just as he said
flowing hair and eyes
dark deep velvet pools.
He used to say
heads turned as she entered a room
and in all the years she had not...

Our beautiful mama

Dearest Mutti,
Such a gentle peaceful going, like a sigh.
You slipped from our arms into Death's embrace.

Watching over us now from above! Will love, pray and think of you always! Be good Gran, and if you cant be good, be careful! Love Dj and Alex
