Teresa A. Rivera, born on August 2, 1942, passed away on July 11, 2020 at the age of 77. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Aguilar; father, Pedro Almendarez; mother, Juanita Almendarez; sons, David Rivera, and Richard Rivera; great-grandson, Josiah Leonard Rivera.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Gutierrez and husband Raymond, Diana Rivera and husband George Adame, Sandra Soto and husband Jesse, and Laura Gaona; sons, Jose Rivera Jr. and wife Diane, Alex Rivera and wife Michelle Benavidez; brothers, Pete Almendarez Jr. and Albert Almendarez; sister, Ramona Ortiz; 29 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Wildflower Memorial Park.
