I knew Teresa as a young man from Brooklyn alone for the first time in the South, making all kinds of mistakes in a town that had a hidden set of rules. She read good books, had great friends and lit a little lamp to show me the way. I am grateful for her friendship, warmed by her memory and saddened by her departure.

I am so saddened to hear about Teresa. She was one of my first "best" friends. Her memory will always be of a happy, sweet girl. My prayers and deepest sympathy are with you all.

My dear Tessie. After 15 years I found you on FB, we got in contact and then...... you died.
