Not sure what to say?

Teri Powell was my favorite teacher at St. Martins Academy. She not only taught me the difference between guacamole and Guatemala, but also the importance of kindness. She was a beautiful person, inside and out.

I had Teri as a spanish teacher for two years at Stevens High School. I will always remember her for her smile, her quiet style, and her love for all people. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

I admired Teri from the day I met her as my son's (Freddie) Spanish teacher at Stevens. He enjoyed her classes and his trip to Spain in 1995 with her as a chaperone. She is enjoying freedom from pain with the Angels now.

I had Teri has a Spanish teacher at Stevens for 2 years and was her Aide for a third. Profe was always so full of life and so kind and gentle. I never heard her so much as raise her voice at her students. I learned so much from her. I will miss her very much. I regret not going to see her when I was in town.

We first met when Teri was in about 3rd grade. Though I have not had contact with her for years, I well remember her as a lovely, interesting and unique person. She once prepared a fabulous Lebanese dinner in our home, ending with the best baklava I ever tasted! I'm sure she touched many, many lives. Marcia, my sincere condolences.

Having Ms. Powell as my high school Spanish teacher at St. Martin's began a domino effect in my life that I couldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams. Her example as a caring, compassionate, creative teacher will always be remembered... May she rest in peace.

Although I am crying for the loss of your friendship, I know that the angels are singing and welcoming you home. Our trip to Denver for Cinco de Mayo, your support with the recognition from Sam's CLub, your kind and giving heart will always bring a smile to my face. I try to copy your gentle voice and your open arms to students, although I am not nearly as good at it as you were.I will miss you dear friend, but may God keep you in his arms till we meet again.

Profe was the most kind and generous person that i had ever met. I had her as my spanish teacher at Stevens High School and she was also in charge of Amnesty International when i was a sophmore in high school, she was a very special person. and she will be missed very greatly.

I am so sorry to hear of Teri's passing. She was a very gentle, kind-hearted and loving person. May you rest in peace. We love you Teri.
