Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to hear of your loss to the Nelson Family, there are a lot of Fun Times with Terrell and Frances. We all will miss him.
He was able to bring a lot of the Old Gang together to share a lot of stories once again.

Dear Nelsons,
You have been in my thoughts almost constantly the past days and weeks. As Rex said so well, there is much grief and much relief and we do understand that.
Terrell was truly a man's man but at the same time, one of the most sensitive, caring individuals I've ever been blessed to know. He impacted my life in a way that has stayed with me all my life. I can never forget him. I love you all so much.
Larry (& Kay)

I had the honor of meeting Terrell and Frances while Clark Underbakke's 5th grade class at Green Valley Elementary School in Hoover, Alabama was writing a novel about Terrell's World War II experience. Terrell also helped me edit a video of our principal, Mrs. Vicky Davis. Frances, my prayers are with you and your family.

Terrell was always ready to help others. He loved family.
Frances, Rex and family, our thoughts and prayers will be of and with you in the days ahead

Mrs. Nelson, Rex and Deda
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Nelson was such a special person and he was always there to help in any way during the time Rex was in the a cappella choir. We are so regretful that we just learned of this loss tonight! (Friday) We would have been there to see you. Please know that our prayers and deepest sympathies are with you.

My Dear Frances (Rex, Deda, & girls) - I am so very sorry...I just found out today (12/11). The world has lost one of the most wonderful men I have ever had the pleasure to know. My thoughts are with you at this sad time..

With love & deepest sympathy,
Terri (Eubanks) Stewart

Dear Mrs. Nelson,
I haven't met you but know of you & your husband through Rex & Deda. I sang in the Arvada Center Chorale for many years under Rex's direction & he was a wonderful director & is still a friend. It is obvious that Rex has a deep love & respect for his parents and that has to have come from loving, special people who set a wonderful example for Rex.
Please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Flossie O'Day

Frances, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Terrell has been a great inspiration to me all these years especially during the time I spent at Nelco after graduating school. Terrell gave me much needed guidence the entire time I worked for him and that will never be forgotten.

Francis, what a wonderful
journey you and Terrell have had. Now, Annis and I will keep you in our prayers as you continue with the memories. - James Nelson
