Not sure what to say?

I knew Terry when he started Abbott. Back when the office was on the rock road in front of the winterland ice rink. I knew him through some firefighters that worked there part time. He was a pioneer. Ended up in a NREMT cert with him and we got our national registry certification together. The glory days of EMS. Will never forget him. RIP Terry!

Dear Sharon,

I am so saddened to learn of Terry's passing. We were so privileged to be on the receiving end of your love and generosity to the University as Home Plate hosts and family to students away from home. Please know Sharon that you are part of the university family now. With much appreciation and deepest condolences,

Mr Dougherty thank you for the opportunity to do one of my lifetime dream, taking care of people. Sure miss the monthly birthday cake(s).

It was a pleasure to have worked with Terry. He was an intelligent, innovative and insightful entrepreneur and I learned from him. Working for Abbott has been a privilege and a pleasure and I believe the company has continued to thrive and grow in part because of Terry's original leadership and foresight.

Dear Terry's Family,

I am thinking of your Family and sending you good thoughts. Our hearts and thoughts are with you.

Terry was an extremely smart and knowledgable man. His analytical thinking skills to create and accomplish all the things in life he did had a great impact on many. His love and devotion to his wife Sharon, sons/family and friends was unwavering. How blessed we all were who had him in our lives and among those he invited to be a part of his life. He will be greatly missed but live on in our hearts. We send our love and sympathy to the entire Dougherty Family.

Michelle and I send our condolences to the entire Dougherty Family.

Terry was a real entrepreneur, the Saint Louis community benefited from his insight. It has been my privilege to know him and wife Sharon for many years since our days at Bradley University.

Much love to Aunt Sherrie and our cousins.
