Not sure what to say?

We moved next door to Terry and Lee in 1995. They quickly became members of the family, or rather we part of theirs. Terry was always the gracious teacher, ready to engage in a conversation about a particular plant, cooking method and ingredients, a physics lesson on how to take down trees, or intriguing adventures up north. He patiently took the time to find out about the lives around him and asked just the right questions with that sparkle in his eyes. He never asked for anything in...

Terry was my manager when I was first hired at Northern States Power Co. I was a single man just leaving the US Navy. During my early years at NSP he provide inspiration and guidance. I am very thankful for the opportunity Terry provided me. I consider Terry a significant person in the story of my life.

We work together at NSP in implementing a Nuclear Quality Assurance Program in the wake of the TMI accident. In this difficult task, I am proud of the standard of excellence...

You'll be missed, Uncle Terry. I love you. Jennifer K.

May you look to God for strength to go forth each day. And may the memories of your husband and father's courage always be with you.(2 Corinthians 4:7)

I was privileged to know Terry for 26 years. He was a very competent "fixer" who preferred to tackle fixing something himself rather than getting a repair man. Always willing to help or take a short break from one of his projects. Liked to talk about any subject - computers to truck/car repair to growing flowers. But, as soon as there was a lull in the conversation Terry would say "Well, back to work.". I will greatly miss this kind man.

Family of Terry
We have lived in the neighborhood for nearly 10 years. I've so enjoyed talking with Terry about his beautiful landscaping, flowers and other greenery that he nursed. He always had great advise and was very knowledgeable in everything from fertilizers, how to start trees from just a nut, and on into processing the fruits and vegetables he grew. I enjoyed watching him complete project after project. He is an inspiration to me. His will and determination is unmatched. ...

Terry will be missed and I will always remember him as the best neighbor anyone could ever ask for. He was a confident, knowledgeable carpenter, wood worker, gardner and at his age still strong enough to help a neighbor move an oversized tv when asked. He was independent and wanted to maintain his home and yard all by himself, he didn't want anyone to help him with something he could do himself.

He shared his flowering plants and his fruit tree wisdom. I have his yellow day...

Maureen, Kevin and families:
We have been in the neighborhood for 20+ years and in that time, can't remember many days where we didn't see the light on in Terry's garage at night, knowing that he was working on a project of some kind. I walked past the house last night and was saddened to realize the light was not on...all his projects are done.

We have many good memories of Terry and will miss him.

We are very sorry for your loss.
