Not sure what to say?

I am so gratified that I got to know and share some of Terry’s journey! He was such a good man!!! I really do miss the occasional times I would see Terry &Bernice! I miss our friendship! RIP dear friend! May Heaven hold all you might ever desire! Our world was such a better place because of you!!! Thank you Terry! You did the McGovern name proud!!!

I was a team-mate of Terry's on the 1955 St. Ed's Eagles football team. He joined me at Notre Dame in the fine arts program and, years later, we received our BFA degrees. Terry was the personification of "A Notre Dame Man" -- he was friendly, looked out for his team-mates, and was loyal to his friends. I called him from time to time to see how he was doing in the art world and I would fill him in on my latest sculpture. He was always interested. I wish to extend my most sincere...

Dear Bernice and Family: We were so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. He was such a great husband, father, brother-in-law and friend. Besides Cleveland visits over the years, we especially enjoyed his participation in the several Mielcarek Family reunions we had around the country. His patient, calm manner and dry sense of humor were especially endearing. He will be greatly missed.

I want to offer my prayers for Terry and think fondly of his family, especially Bernice, Michael/Colleen, Julie/Tim, and Carey. I always enjoyed visiting them and family get togethers we had. I respected Terry as a talented artist, house remodeler (with Bernice), and his strong quiet way being there for everyone in the family.

Single Memorial Tree

I am truly sorry that you have left us. I want to share my condolences with Bernice and your family. I am so pleased that you had an oppotunity to create a portfolio of your beautiful art work to share with your community of friends. I especially treasure your painting of Donna. It hangs on my living room wall. When people comment on it, I get a chance to pull out your portfolio and show your wonderful work. It will last forever.

Dear Bernice and family, Condolences to you on the passing of your dear husband. May good memories comfort you.

Terry was my colleague for many years at Liggett-Stashower. He was a cool head, a real pro, and a good guy. No surprise he became President.

We treasured Terry´s friendship! We was a very good man! The life he lived inspired us with its beauty, courage, and love! Safe home Terry! We will miss you so much! Vince& Margaret
