Not sure what to say?

My name is John Baptist N. Mubiru. I am a Ugandan who graduated from St. Thomas in 1982. Monsignor Terrance J. Murphy is the one who assisted me to attend St. Thomas after I had run away from Uganda during Idi Amin's rule. Monsignor Murphy was a very good priest, friend, leader, and above all very kind and sincere.

I will miss him very much because he was like a father to me.

Long live his memories in all us his children.
GOD BLESS HIS SOUL.

How sad I am to hear of Father Terry's death. I was fortunate to have spent an evening with Father Terry some years ago. He was my fathers first cousin. We are all very proud of Father Terry's accomplishments and his deep dedication to His religion and to St Thomas College. I shall miss my christmas letters from Father Terry

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Father Murphy. He was president of St Thomas while I attended there. His door was always open to anyone. He was always a great example to us as to how to live as a Christian and member of the St Thomas community.

I was fortunate to have had Msgr. Murphy as an instructor at St. Thomas in American Government. It was a real pleasure to be in his class. Teachers like Msgr. Murphy made St. Thomas a great place to attend. He was of the stuff of which legends are made. He will be missed.

I (Helen nee Hanselmann)was the first convert Msgr. Murphy took from start to conversion after he was ordained in 1946. He married us on November 14, 1946 and officiated when we renewed our vows on our 50th anniversary. We would get together with him when we came to Minnesota and exchanged Christmas cards. He was a wonderful person and we will miss him very much.

Oh Father Terry how I will miss you. You were there for me when I first started St. Thomas where I didn't know a soul and throughout my years at St. Thomas you were always by my side. Sunday brunches at your house was always something I looked forward to.
I just wish I could have been there for you at the end. I will never forget you, you will live on in my heart forver!!!
You were more like a grandfather to me rather than a great uncle.
Rest in peace knowing you made...

Dear Katy,
