Not sure what to say?

I Served as the Admin Petty for Captain Riley on the USS FORRESTAL for his tour . Spent many long nights with him in Medical (I am Burt Rosen in his Book.) I have nothing but admiration and respect for him. He was a great leader and a very compassionate doctor for all on the ship. He always amazed me like the time I had to drive him to a French hospital to check on a patient from the ship (he did the driving). When we arrived to the hosptial. Captain Riley spoke perfect French with the...

Dear Mrs. Riley & family,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of being stationed at NAOMI/NOMI, which I have many fond memories. Among many things, I have always been impressed & in admiration Captain Riley's leadership and expertise. Despite all his remarkable accomplishments, he had such a way of making his sailors feel as if they were the remarkable ones. His sense of humor and compassion will be greatly missed.

I would look...

Dr. Riley will be deeply missed by my husband & myself! Our prayers are with his family! We will always be touched by the personal care he gave his patients. Never have we ever been greeted by the doctor each time we had an appt. Most Doctor's always have their nurses call us back but not Dr. Riley, He comes out greets us and shakes our hands. He made us feel so comfortable! He also sent us many letters to keep us inform of my husband's disease!! Dr. Riley you will be deeply missed!!
