Not sure what to say?

Dear Pat ,Trevor ,Tyler, and Jennifer
At times like this words are small comfort... this poem I hope will express more than I can.

A man lives for as long as we carry him inside us,
For as long as we carry the harvest of his dreams,
For as long as we ourselves live,
Holding memories in common, a man lives.

His lover will carry his man’s sent, his touch;
His children will carry the weight of his love.
One friend will carry his arguments,
Another will hum...

Dear Pat and Family; I wish to extend my sympathy; I am so saddened by the passing of your wonderful husband, brother and father and my wonderful cousin Terry. Terry could light up a room when he entered just by being Terry. I smile when I think of him. Terry once helped me out of the Royal Towers. I tried to convince him I was of age. I'm your cousin I don't need to do the math he said. You can walk or I'll carry you. I will miss him terribly as we all will. Miss him yes forget him never,...

We are so surprised by the loss of Terry. His vivacity and joy in life and family keep coming to mind almost as a denial of his passing. We were blessed to know him through several years at St. Laurence church. One favourite memory our family holds is of Terry graciously serving Jennifer, who did not care to be treated as a child, with a ladle full of punch dipped far enough into the adult punch to appear to her to be the punch she wanted. But, she was served alcohol-free punch by Dad...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Pat and family,
I'm having such a hard time working through Terry's passing I can't imagine how you folks are doing it. I wasn't ready for a peer to pass. I remember you meeting, the wedding, babies, showers, even a bit of camping at your favourite place. You guys really set the standard for family and community involvement. So many will miss Terry's support and that wonderful twinkle in his eyes. All I can say is thanks for sharing him with the rest of us. Blessings as you work through...

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Pat and Family,

My condolences to you. Terry was a great friend, teammate and classmate. I am saddened by his passing, but the guy I affectionately knew as "The Dragon" will always be with me.

Pat and Family:
We were so sad to hear of Terry's sudden passing. You have many happy memories to comfort you in the coming days. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Pat and family...
