LAKELAND - Terri Anne (Donahay) Schmidt, 60, was born on December 12, 1952 in Washington, D.C. passed away on August 7, 2013 of toxic poisoning.
Mrs. Schmidt is survived by husband Douglas A. Schmidt, father and mother Robert and Marie Donahay, Jr., brother Bob (Debbie) Donahay, children Brian (Claudia) Dodd, Jason (Lydia) Dodd, Jennifer Dodd Wear, and Heather Michelle Dodd. Stepson's James and Douglas Jr., sister in law Claudia Schmidt, 10 grandchildren, 2 nephews and 1 niece.
The service will be held at Southern Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 11am. Interment to follow at Dade Memorial Cemetery. God's most precious gift...We thank the Lord Almighty for our sweet Terri Anne. Flowers may be sent to Southern Memorial Funeral Home, 15011 West Dixi Hwy., North Miami, Florida 33181 and must be received no later than Monday at 9am.

I grew up In Miami Central Nazarene Church with Terri Dodd when we where teens. Then off to Trevecca Nazarene College, sorry to hear of Terri passing. On May 5th I was diagnosis with grade 4 brain cancer. My prayers will be with the family during this time.

Uncle Billy, Aunt Sue, Bobby, Doug and all of Terri's children: We are so sorry for this great loss. Terri was truly a great and wonderful person. She will truly be missed. I remember her fun personality and wonderful singing voice. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. We will see her again one day in heaven.

Uncle Billy, Aunt Sue & Bobby, I was so sorry to hear about Terry, the memories of our years all growing up together in Florida are still so strong. I wish I could be there to give my condolences in person. We will be praying for all of you in hopes that you may find some peace and comfort. We love you.

Mommy, you are so beautiful inside and out. I am completely lost without you and only God Himself is sustaining me now. You are my best friend and I am completely grateful to be your daughter.
