Not sure what to say?

Dear Karen and Michael,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a big and enjoyable part of my life. She not only loved you both with her whole being, she liked you. If you weren't her kids, she would have chosen you as friends. That makes you both very special people. We all have fond and fun memories of Aunt Terri to fill our hearts. All my love and support to you always.

Cousins Michael and Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was wonderful, warm and funny. I have a memory of when I was a little girl, I went to visit when your family lived in Berkeley. One day, Karen went outside to play with the neighbors and left me inside. I started crying (can we say "ultra sensitive!"). So what did your mom do? She said, 'come on, let's go get some ice cream!'. We hopped in the car and took off just the 2 of us. She made a shy little girl feel loved and...

Dear Michael and Karen,
I feel sad that your Mom is gone from us now... even though my visits with her over the years were few and far between she was and is a part of who I am. She and your Dad were a major presence in my life growing up. My weekends at your house with Arlene enriched my life as a kid. We had so much fun. I have so many memeories... ha ha like learning to like avacado sandwiches--a favorite of your Mom's and going to playland at Ocean beach... so many little things that...

Karen & Michael, my heart goes out to both of you at this time and in the days ahead. I wanted to share with you the last conversation I had with your Mom in August of 2006. We talked for over an hour. After the initial pleasantries, the conversation turned to your Mom’s favorite topic, the two of you. She spoke so highly of both of you and was so proud of the people you have grown up to be. She also told me how you always took “such good care of her” and that she considered herself “truly...

Michael and Karen:

We didn't see your Mom very often but when we did, she had this way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the world; always so excited and happy to see you. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Michael and Karen,
It was such a sweet gift to be able to see your mother Terri before her passing. During that visit it was clear that her greatest joy came from the two of you. Everytime your names were spoken, she'd perk up and take notice. She wallowed at the very thought of her children.
It had been years since we last spoke. Aunt Terri called me in New York once and we talked for quite a while. She had a talent for reaching out that maybe even then, I didn't fully...

Dear Karen & Michael,
I was very sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
Love and God Bless You,
Donna & Family

Aunt Terri, I have so many fond memories of you when I was a little girl and teenager. I remember all the weekends you would pick me up to spend time with you. You would do my hair and take me shopping and when we got back home you would paint my nails. You would tell my mom that you wanted to adopt me because you wanted me to be your little girl. I think about that today and I feel very flattered that you thought so highly of me. We had so many good times together and I will never forget...

Mike and Karen,
Your mom will always have a very special place in my heart. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
Much love to you always,
Mona De La Houssaye.
