Terrilyn Lehua Chun

I just learned of Terrilyn´s passing. I´m stunned and sad. I enjoyed many great times with her in our 20s, 30s and 40s. I genuinely loved her. I regret that we did not stay in contact in recent years. She was smart, genuine and compassionate. My condolences to her family and friends.

Dear family and friends of Terrilyn, I worked with Terrilyn (she was my boss for many years) at the library and always admired her spirit, dedication, gorgeous smile and quick mind. When I retired, one of the things I missed most was my nearly daily conversations, even when she was calling to remind me about something I´d forgotten to do. May her memory be a blessing. Dear family and friends of Terrilyn, this news saddens me deeply as for us all. I worked with Terrilyn at Central Library for years and always respected the excellent work that she did, and appreciated her warmth of personality and congenial way of connecting to people. I'd sometimes chat with Terrilyn in the Isom break room, often about Hawaiian foods and other times comparing notes about parents. I've been away from the library for several years and so was surprised and dismayed to learn that Terrilyn had cancer and had died much too young. Lehua blossoms are beautiful; such a lovely middle name. My condolences to the Chun family.

I always enjoyed working with Terrilyn while she was at Central. When she left Central I missed seeing her smile and friendliness.
