Not sure what to say?

Terry was awesome. Great story teller. He was truly an honest guy who loved his work and family. I met him through his dad's pets at rest business. Gonna miss him. Fly high with angels .

I have known Terry Altmeyer & his family since Big Bill & Ruthie first started racing horses in the early 1960s, when he was a toddler in diapers. We shared a love of Standardbreds & those who race them on the fair circuit. When he wasn't racing & I wasn't busy in the race office, we shot pool & shot the breeze. Nothing made me happier than to see him walk through the office door with a grin on his face. Family - Ruth, Laura, Tyler, Megan & Allison, little Bill, Danny, Bob & Tom, and...

Terry was an extraordinary man who made me laugh at his stories. I knew him through his business. I work at a vet hospital and knew him and also Tyler from there. I loved hearing his stories about horse racing. He told me he was looking at another horse to buy, not sure if he did though. He has said numerous times how proud he was of his children and he could rest easily knowing they have succeeded in their lives. My condolences and prayers go out to the family. RIP Terry, you will be missed....

I knew Terry for many years at the Meadows. We shared a love of harness racing and wrestling. Both of our sons were wrestlers and we sure loved talking about that. My wife and I are truly sorry for your loss and want you to know how deeply he will be missed.

I was a horse groom from 1981 to 1991 - I knew Terry but not well - I know he was from a nice family and he was very good looking - my condolences...Corrina Blystone
