Not sure what to say?

Pastor Terry and Jan were truly the salt of the earth people. My wife children attended their church for 4 years and enjoyed being a part of the family of grace Christian center. They are with the Lord now and that's always a good thing.

I just found out about the deaths of Pastor Terry & Jan Whitley. I met Pastor Terry & Jan in 1980 while my Husband and I was stationed there in Fort Hood. I attended their church from the first visit, and continued until we left from the area 3 years later. My heart is so saddened by their passing, but I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. They were such exceptional people, loving, caring, and very passionate about their congregation. My condolences and prayers to...

Though it has been a while now, my wife and I have only today learned of Pastor Terry and Pastor Jan's home-going. Wow, what they have meant to our lives! We met them in 1989 at GCC. I was a 20 year old kid with a wife and 2 babies. I had been ignoring a ministerial call that was on my life, and I had been away from God. The day we walked into Grace we knew it was a special place. As Pastor Terry taught that first Sunday, my heart bore witness that "this" was what I had been looking...

I just found your tribute page. I attended Rhema with Terry and was also former law enforcement. He and I became "buds" in Tulsa. Study partners, Rhema Maroon football teammates, and friends. While saddened to learn of their passing, I look forward to our reunion with our Lord. Thank you very much for this page. He and Jan where special people.

From minister Arthur Simmons,

The teaching, preaching, and leadership that these spiritual leaders provided for the ministry, local church, and family about how to depend on the LORD, and look to Him (not humanity/the arm of flesh) for everything, (whether they are here on this earth or not) has cause them to move forward stronger and wiser than before. The ministry, church, and family have continued to grow stronger and wiser because of the foundation and continual training their...

the day my husband and met pastors terry and jan will always be i my heart.we had just arrived at Ft.hood, after spending 3 yrs overseas with the milatary.we were entered to pastor terry from a friend we had met.they were attending grace at that time.they wre our spirirual parents.they are ow with my husband who passed away 15th of dec 2012

I just learned of Pastor Terry & Jan's tragic accident but the one thing I know and remember Pastor Terry always saying at the end of service was "I know I'm ready, are you" because he wanted to ensure everyone was saved before they walked out of the door! Thank you for all of the wonderful and touching sermons! You all will be missed and I am so sorry I am just learning of this accident.

Terry and Jan. I will never forget you, or what I learned at Grace. Even though it's been many years, don't think that your impact on my life wasn't appreciated. Grace Christian Center: "May their memory be a blessing to you always, and to the ones they loved as well". God bless You, Grace Christian Center.

Terry and Jan were my spiritual parents. They literally changed my life. Introduced me to Jesus, fed me the richness of God's word, married my husband (Eric) and I 20 years ago and dedicated our oldest daughter to the Lord. I know they are with Jesus and marveling at everything heaven has to offer. I miss them deeply every day, but I know I will see them again one day !
