Dear Barrie Family,

We are very saddened by the death of Terry, although I knew he was not well
My memories of him go back a few decades to our East Grand Rapids High School class of '48. Special memories where at least a couple hours on one or two weekend evenings were spent at the Barrie home on Lake Drive, hosted by Terry's mother Mrs "Ma" Barrie and the Barrie brothers. Dear Barrie Family - Although it has been numerous years, I can recall so many wonderful times with Terry as if they occurred yesterday. He was such a positive influence for me at a young age when our families were so close. My thoughts are with you during this trying time.

Hi, Val! I'm sorry about the passing on Terry. I used to live next door to you on Lexington, and babysat a few times. My father, Dean, is still alive at the age of 82, but has a pacemaker and his mobility is limited. He remarried in 1977, to Linda and has a son, Todd, who is getting married on November 11 at the age of 26.

I will always remember Terry as a true original. He had a wonderful mind chock full of tidbits to complete even the thorniest crossword puzzle. His sense of humor was a real addition to the coffee shop group.
