Not sure what to say?

I love and miss my dad everyday. Just came across this page, if anyone sees this and has stories to share I'd love to hear them. From childhood, USAFA, whenever. You can reach me at [email protected] Thank you, God bless

Denise, Tim, Kevin, and Scott, I am so sorry for your loss. I only found out Terry had passed probably 10 years after he was gone. Terry and I were friends beginning in 7th & 8th grade in Wiesbaden. We kept up a friendship thru letters thru high school and college and then actually reunited when the golf team from the AIF Force Academy came to Texas. We had our first date and we were both Freshmen in college. Then Terry and I had our second date when he came to Austin my Junior year at UT...

Dear Denise and sons -- I had the pleasure of serving with Terry at Robins AFB, flying together many times as well as solving the world's problems while on alert duty. He and I were close friends at the time and I'm sorry we fell apart with passing time. An outstanding pilot, friend, and human being. I grieve for your loss and pray for God's blessings and comfort for you.

Terry is now reunited with his Mother and Father (Herb and Diane) in our Lord's loving arms. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Terry before his death, I was Blessed to be very close friends with his Parents. Dianne passed away this past Sunday (3/18/2012) and "The General" Herb, died today (3/20/12). I'm absolutely certain that they are all smiling now. May God Bless the Bench Family.

Please accept my belated condolences, I just heard about Terry. I had the privilege of flying with him many times over the years.
He was a wonderful, funny man.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I read about Terry's passing in our AOG magazine. My family and I met Terry at Warner Robins, Georgia. He was one of the best people we ever knew. We loved him deeply. My brother remembers him from USAFA and says he was "one of the good guys". Although we didn't keep in contact, we will miss him greatly. Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. It is truly a sad place without Terry. God's Blessings to Terry's parents, brothers, wife and children from Brig. Gen. (ret.)...

My family and the Bench family have been long time friends dating back to the early 60's in Germany. Terry was an outstanding athlete and he and I played baseball, basketball, and football together. Our fathers were both coaches of our teams. Terry was an exceptional guy and well liked and respected by everyone. My brother Bob, sisters Robin & Susie, and I send our condolences to Terry's parents, brothers, wife and children.

I remember Terry from 5th grade, I think it was, in Maxwell AFB. Both of our families traveled on to Wiesbaden. He was a fine, sweet boy; I'm confident he grew into the same kind of man. Very affectionate memories; I'm sorry for your loss.

Denise and Boys,

Terry was a good childhood friend and USAF Academy classmate. My sincere condolences go out to you all.
