I knew Terry from working at Bird Library. She was very good friends with my husband Tom who worked many years at Bird. When we visited Syracuse we always popped in to see Terry and the cheer she brought us was always a joy to us. Her optimism and kindness were true gifts to the world.
My you rest in peace, Terry

To Terry's family:
I am someone who only knew Terry from seeing her at B&N and at Kauffman's, but she was remarkably cheery and pleasant to me. When I realized she was in the tragic accident, I had to extend my prayers and thoughts of condolences to you, her family. I wish I knew her better, but she left a lasting impression on me that I had to tell you that I too am sorry for your loss.
With heartfelt sympathy to you.

I worked with Terry at E.S. Bird Library many years ago and saw her more recently at Barnes & Noble. Amazingly, she remembered me and was delightfully friendly. Her death is such a tragic loss. May memories of happy times bring you comfort.

We are neighbors of Terry's mother, Helen. We only met Terry a couple of times through Helen, but we know she was a good person. She was very supportive of her mother, who lives alone at this point. She will be sorely missed. She, and her family, will be in our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to Terry's loving family -- I was a year ahead of Terry at LeMoyne and worked in the library. Terry had a sweet cheery face and always offered a shy but sincere hello to all. I've been traveling and this very sad news reached me just this evening. My son who now attends LeMoyne commented that many at the college were deeply saddened to learn of Terry's accidental death. Please know that you all will be in my prayers. God bless you. -- Jane

I have been so sad since I heard of Terry's death. I worked with her for several years and saw her frequently in Shoppingtown. We talked often. She was truly a remarkable person - so caring, friendly and enthusiastic. I told her one Christmas that she was 1 of the rare people who had the Christmas spirit all year. What a delightful person she was! My heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends. We here on earth have lost someone very special - heaven has gained someone quite wonderful.
