I am one of Terry's many running buddies. I spent four years at Lehigh University, as a graduate student in the mid-80's. Terry and I ran together on the canal nearly every day during that time. Terry was a wonderful friend and I will miss him.

Dear Mrs. Delph and family,
I read with great sadness the news about Terry. He was a very gentle friend and colleague, and I appreciated very much his coming to my retirement reception in November. He was one of the most fit and athletic professors in our department. We all expected him to live a long and healthy life. May God rest his soul.

What an amazing guy. Terry was generous with his time and experience as I entered the running scene in the late 80s. He made me a better runner and a better person.

We just treasured the time shared side by side, sweating through the summer miles, bundled up in winter's chill. We were both quiet souls, but found so much to talk about on every run. We had the greatest respect for...

Terry was one of the finest people that I ever met. A real gentleman, and extremely intelligent, he was a pleasure to be around. Too few like him in our world.
