A celebration of life will be held for Terry Dowell, 59, of Portland, at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 11, in St. Helens.

Terry was born Oct. 5, 1948, in Willamina, the son of Chet and Margart Dowell. He died March 27, 2009, in Portland.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Carrie Henningsen; brother, Ernie Dowell; sisters, Shrily Lyons and Barb Bettelyoun; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and stepmother, Annie Dowell.
