Terry and I were close friends during our distance running careers. We would train together while talking about sports, and yes, Terry loved the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a very kind person, and after we stopped our racing days, I didn't see much of Terry. I am so impressed by Terry's education and commitments to society. I am deeply sorry for the family's loss, and deeply regret not being able to attend the service to pay my respects to a truly wonderful man. My thoughts and payers go out...
