Its a very sad time for the entire Eckert family, and also for all of Palmerton as we lose another icon that helped make the borough what it is today. I have so many memories of Terry way back in the day when I grew up with Andy, Susy and Sandy. I'll never forget all the times as a kid when my dad and i went down to the lumber yard only to meet up with Terry and/or Pete Turko who both loved to give me all kinds of grief. I have only met Terry when he has been in the hospital and despite those difficult times, he has always been so pleasant, thoughtful, and bright with an extremely positive and realistic outlook of life. His family has always shown him such love, caring and respect. He was obviously a very loving, caring, brilliant man and his memory will be forever lasting. My thoughts and prayers to all of Terry´s friends and family.
