Mom, It´s hard to believe that with a blink of an eye - you´ve been gone 9 years already. Today is a sad day for me - I miss you all the time, but today is a reflection of just how much. I know you wouldn´t want me to be sad, so I´m trying to be pull myself out of this and feel some happiness. I was thinking about all the nights we would talk on the phone and just laugh about the craziest things. I miss those days. One would say it was the anniversary of your death however the word anniversary and death dont feel like they should be in the same sentence. Anniversary is a happy time and losing you was truly not that. I find comfort in reading this Butterfly "So Loved" Poem -- "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear." I truly believe this is the case. I'm sorry that it's been a while since I've written at least you still get me talking to you on a daily basis. Florida just had a hurricane and thankfully everyone got thru it safe and sound. Work has been so busy for the past 4+ months. I'm sure you and Grammy have been shaking your heads as you watched me manage 5 bosses. It's been hard, however, you've instilled such a strong work ethic in me, that I was able to persevere and get thru it. I visited you today I told you about Wyatt's graduation. The weather was cold the ceremony was nice the only thing missing was your presence. I got to spend a day with all the kids and grandkids the day before Fathers Day. I found the letter we wrote to Momma after she passed away. After reading it I realized I forgot to tell her how grateful I was that she had a Beautiful, Loving Daughter named Theresa. Hi Mom,
Hope all is going well in Heaven for you. As I'm sure you're noticing from your view above that this country and world is going crazy. There is so much hatred and violence. It's pretty scary. I hope and pray for world peace and healing something that is desperately needed at this point. I'm hoping that your life in Heaven is as peaceful and wonderful as we on earth have been told and that all the bad here doesn't transfer to Heaven. On a more brighter note -- It's pool time for Jaelyn and it's so hard for me to be taking pictures of her and not being able to send them to you. Hopefully you're seeing Jaelyn and how much she's grown in the past 9 months and how well she's swimming since last summer. She's actually jumping off the diving board now. We've been waiting to see some more butterflies around our house. There really haven't been too many. I assume you're busy flying between Florida, Maine and CT so I'm hopeful we'll see you soon. I miss you very much and it's so hard to believe you've been gone over 9 months already. Time keeps marching on even thru sadness and missing someone you love very much. Continue to watch over all of us, and please ask Gram and Pep to do the same, too. The more, the merrier when it comes to keeping us all healthy and safe. Just know that a day doesn't go by that I'm not thinking of you and missing you. Now you know what poor Grammy went thru but I think with you it's even worse because my heart continues to have a hole in it and thinking and talking to you every day helps me to deal with you not being here for me in person, but only in spirit now. Hi Mom, One year ago we were heading to Florida and seeing you. What a difference a year makes. I miss you very much...but you already know that since I talk to you ALL the time! There is not a day that goes by that I don't wish you were still here. I know how much you were looking forward to Wyatt's graduation and now the weekend is here. I'm sure you'll be smiling down on him today. Duffy is now in heaven with you, too, and I'm sure you're catching up with him. Just felt like sending you a message to tell you how much I miss you and love you and appreciate you as our guardian angel. Happy Mother's Day to my dear Mom. Today is a day of both sadness and happiness. Sadness that you're not here for me to call, to talk and laugh with, to thank for being my Mom. Happy for the wonderful mother that you were and the great relationship that we had. I'm grateful for all that you taught and instilled in me thru my life, which has helped in my becoming who I am today. As a mother, my hope is that I can share all of that with Jaelyn, too. So on this day, and everyday, that I miss you terribly, I'm grateful and thankful for the life and love you have given me, and all that you have done for me. Happy Mother's Day in Heaven, Mom. Mom... A day doesn't go by without me thinking of you. I am constantly thinking of you and still feel a sadness and emptiness in my life. My days, weeks, and months since October 1st have continued on but it's not the same. I miss you so much. I just want to talk and laugh again with you. I'm still sad inside and try not to be. I know you wouldn't want that. My daily life is just a constant reminder of what I would have said to you or shared with you. Hard to believe that a year ago we were getting ready to see you. I wish I could turn back time and I wish that you didn't have surgery. I feel like if just one thing was done differently you'd still be here with us. They say things happen for a reason and when it's your time...it's your time. I just feel like you were taken too soon. We had at least 20 more years. Still so many talks to have, tears to cry, laughs to laugh. I know that Jaelyn will someday feel this and that saddens me too. Life is so crazy. I know death happens and there is no denying it but it still hurts terribly to lose someone that you love. Our cat of 15 years just died - it's been a rough 6 months with death. I know that I will always tell Phil and Jaelyn how much I love them because our lives are truly on borrowed time and every day is a blessing for all of us. So even in my sadness, I am blessed to have had you as my Mom. I know you hear me talking to you constantly about how much I miss and love you...so I guess I just need to accept that our conversations from here on out are one-sided and that you are listening. I miss and love you every day....forever.

Hi Mom,
It's April 1st and I can't believe you've been gone 6 months today. It doesn't seem possible and I still find myself doubting it even though I know you're really gone. I often think of how hard it's been for me to have lost you at 49, I couldn't even imagine how hard it was for you to lose your dad when you were 16. I was fortunate enough to have 49 years of my life with you, which I'm truly grateful for. As I layed wide awake at 1:00a this morning, I was thinking about you and talking to you. A light, from another room came on and then went off. It was the strangest thing. I got out of bed and went to look around but still have no explanation as to why. I took it as a sign that you heard me and that you wanted me to go back to sleep. As the days, months, years continue on without you, I will never stop thinking about you, loving you and knowing that you're here with me, Phil and Jaelyn and that you're in my heart forever. Love you tons & tons Mom. xoxo

I visited you today, it gets harder and harder to leave when I visit you. I wish I could climb inside with you and not have to leave. I still cannot believe you are not here with me. When I come in the door I look for you, hoping to get a hug and kiss. I always told you I would take care of and protect you. I am sorry I could not protect you when you needed it the most.
