Not sure what to say?

I have great memories of Terry. He was one of our chapter advisors during a rough time for the Phi Gamma Delta chapter at Tech in 1989/90. I met with Terry & other senior FIJI advisors while at Tech to go over grades, activities, etc. while this group was trying to keep our fratnerity alive during some tough times. Terry was considerate, constructive, & positive. I want Mrs. Grantham & her sons to know that he shaped young men, like me, at the time, into the men we are now. That will never be forgotten & I work hard each day to do the same with my children and other young people I interact with. Take strength in knowing Terry made a difference in his time here & that difference will carry on to many other people for a very long time. Rest in peace brother Terry.

LeAnn, Cole, Corbin and Cason,

There is much to remember and much to be thankful for as we remember Terry and the way he shared his life with those around him. Each of us gives gifts of ourselves to those with whom we share life. These are gifts that no one can take away as they are woven into the fabric of our lives. Though we are gone, these gifts remain with those to whom we have given them. Terry has given so much to all of us. We will miss his infectious laugh and sense of humor; his courteous ways and engaging manner made everyone around him feel special.

Our hearts go out to you during this sad time but our thoughts and prayers will always be with you.

Granthams and the closest of Terry's FIJI fraternity brothers, my deepest condolences. I had the privilege of going to Terry's office a few times as an undergraduate for fraternity business, and no one could have been any more welcoming and brotherly to an active member. I found that to still be so just recently in an exchange we had this Fall, where he had remarked that "Each one of us is truly lucky to be a Texas Tech FIJI." No Terry, we were the lucky ones. He left an indelible mark upon our fraternity, and his leadership will greatly be missed. Granthams and Fijis, your family will remain in my prayers. Greg Randolph, Fiji 1992

You will not find many who are so willing to go out of the way to insure that the young people of a community are so considered. His work with and care for all those who played sports in Lubbock will be terribly missed. Our family is deeply greatful for his involvment and for the fact that he not only cared for those teams on which his children played; but his genuine interest in all "kids"...

Thank You..

LeAnn, Cole, Corbin and Cason -

You have my deepest sympathies. Terry was a rock, and a great friend. He was the funniest person I've ever known, and I loved spending time with him. But most of all, it was clear that if a friend of Terry's called him from Boise, Idaho and asked for help, Terry would get there to assist.

My love and prayers are with you all.

Terry made you feel like you were somebody special when you were around him. In Phi Gamma Delta there were fraternity brothers and then there were fraternity brothers like Terry. His passing is hard to believe. People like Terry don't die, the don't leave us, they're always there. I'm thankful for all that he did for me and the memories he's left all of us with. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. If you knew Terry, you're a better person for it.

LeAnn, Cole, Corbin and Cason. Words alone, cannot express the loss of Terry. Terry was a friend, a fraternity brother, a pledge brother, who will be missed greatly. I have known Terry since Rush Elementary. We played basketball in the Grantham's driveway many times. A big part of the entertainment, was watching Terry and Greg fight trying to best the other. Terry and I pledged Phi Gamma Delta together. We both agreed, it was the best thing we had ever done. During "Hell Week," we had both been through many rough events. We had been soaked in water, along with other detritus. Needless to say, we were extremely tired and cold. The two of us found an old piece of carpet, climbed under a pool table, covered ourselves with the carpet, and slept the night away. I will miss my friend, my fraternity brother, and pledge brother. His wit, his intelligence and laugh. May God Bless your family.
