Still missin' you buddy!

There have been 3 friends in my life that I could get in a contagious laughter fit with, where you can't catch your breath. Terry Houchin was one of those friends. It's now February 23rd 2021 and I'm on a vacation in Fla. and just this morning I thought about Terry, and our good times together, having no idea that this Legacy.com reminder would come across my phone just now. Makes me happy to know Terry is in heaven, still having a positive effect on my life and the lives of all who knew...

Missing you, Terry. Our continued prayer for family and friends. Terry was one of the good people in my life. We could laugh hysterically together. Will see ya' in heaven, brother.

In life we rarely find a person with whom we can laugh uncontrollably with. One who knows what your thinking. One who knows and understands what your going through. One who handles their own life's misfortunes with grace and even humor. One who loves their God and family the way we were meant to.
This dear man was all this and so much more.
The kind of friend that no matter how much time and distance came between us, we still remained close.

Dear Houchin Family,

I apologize for the lateness of this condolence, but I missed the notice of Terry's passing in the newspaper.

Terry was a good friend to me and all of the employees of the District Construction Office. We worked with him almost daily concerning utility permit issues on construction sites. I never knew him not to be upbeat and happy. I will remember him, and all of the family, in my daily prayers.

I am very sorry for the passing of Terry, I remember his peaceful demeanor. Rest in God's grace.
